Day three of our Tennessee vacation brought about a white Christmas, which was a real treat. In all of my years growing up in Tennessee, I do not ever remembering celebrating a Christmas with snow. It was a great blessing.
The Bible says in Psalm 51:7, Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. It is hard to imagine that the snow that washed whiteness on once barren limbs and clay-covered hills could be bettered, but God says that we can be whiter than the wind-driven snow. May the snow always remind us of the forgiveness we have experienced through the person of the Lord Jesus Christ.
